Meet Kokemor Studio
“I want every day to be a fresh start on expanding what is possible.”
― Oprah Winfrey

For so many of us, 2020 was a… challenging year (to say the least), leaving us with high hopes for a fresh start in the New Year.
But if there’s one thing I’ve learned last year, it’s that there’s never really a perfect time to start over, even after your toughest setbacks. That sometimes it’s just as simple as waking up and deciding “today is the day” – to turn things around, to pursue a new path, to do something great.
One month into 2021, we’re feeling resilient, inspired, and ready to take on whatever this year throws at us. We hope that you are too. Here’s your reminder that today, tomorrow, and always, anything is possible.
Read on for a look at what we’ve been up to behind the scenes at Kokemor Studio.
Cheers,
Britta
New Year, New Look

I’m proud to introduce the brand new Kokemor Studio. The name has changed, but our dedication to high-quality visuals remains the same. In addition to photography, we’ve expanded to include videography allowing us to work on more comprehensive projects with clients. Read more about our transformation to Kokemor Studio.
AWARD REWIND
I’m so proud of the community that we have right here in Calgary, so I want to share some of the big wins that have been the talk of the town lately. It was an honour to work on both of these projects, and I can’t wait to see what creative things come out of YYC in 2021!

Pasta La Feasta
This past November, Lana Rogers PR took home the Best Integrated Media Strategy Anvil Award for Pasta La Feasta! We were brought on by LRPR to create the weird and wonderful photography for this campaign and had an absolute blast collaborating with the Brandsmith, the Teatro Group, and many more of Calgary’s best restaurants. Best of all, our work helped support restaurants while raising $6,000 for The Alex Community Food Centre, a space that provides accessible food for all.

Alykhan Velji Designs x Western Living Home of the Year
The competition is always fierce for Western Living Magazine’s Home of the Year, but only one designer can come out on top. In 2020, that designer was the talented Alykhan Velji! Aly and his team worked their “Holiday Magic” on this stunning Mount Pleasant home, winning thousands of votes from Western Living readers. The home was a treat to photograph, with soft pastels, marble accents, mixed metallics, and a strong mid-century influence. Congratulations to Aly and the team! Take a look at the article and the stunning home, here.
